Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte - Reflection of Authenticity and Performance

by CoolPhone on November 10, 2008

By the name of the phone, we can get that unique ‘expensive’ feeling already ain’t it? Carbon Arte sounds more like a sophisticated piece of art that sits together with the likes of carbon fibre body cars like the Ferrari and Porsche. Which is true, by every definition of Ferrari and Porsche.

Without even looking at the logo, you know that a Ferrari is a great car. It’s that shiny body, great design and that aura of greatness that tells it all. It may have just the ordinary features of other less expensive like the BMW, but the position it has put itself in the market, has actually lifted the image of the car. Since first impression is everything, Ferrari has successfully make a great first impression. With that as an analogy, so does the the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte.

See the association? It’s the Ferrrari of mobile phones.

It gives a great first impression when I saw it. It has this cool, shiny black body with fine textures that just screams “I am bold, great and expensive”. It just feels right in your hand. To ensure that it always looks great, its carbon fibre body is coated with Nokia’s anti-smudge technology to ensure it does not have prints all over its shiny body - trust me, when your friends see that you have one, they’d bound to have many prints if there were no anti-smudging.

Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte is truly a state-of-the-arte

Okay, enough mediocrity. Now for the discreet touch, sounds and enivetable success. A special phone is bound to have special features. One of the value that is highlighted is discreet touch. By lightly touching the top of the bluetooth headset, you can increase / decrease the volume. You can tap the phone to show the time and also turn the face of the phone down to cancel unexpected calls during important meetings.

You can be having ‘Nothing Else Matters’ or the standard ‘Continental’ ringtones on a special business phone can you? The sound too must reflect a level of sophistication. That’s why users will have the option to choose a commisioned soundtracks by master producers Kruder & Dorfmeister and visuals by Fritz Fitzke. It is proposed by Nokia that the compositions delght the senses and underscore the sensual specialness of the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte. And success is the engineered carbon fibre, titanium, polished glass and stainless steel body which is exclusive and reflects the refinement and authenticity of success and solidity.

Verdict

All this in one great phone. To have these luxury, all you need to have is high sense of quality, and a cool £922.95, RM6,000 or about USD1,463. It also came in another 2 designs which is the Nokia 8800 Arte, and Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte. As mentioned earlier, this is not for everybody and can only achieved by those who had attained some level of success. It’s like have been mentioned earlier, the Ferrari of mobile phones. I mean, who the hell would want to throw away that kind of money for just a mobile phone? Yes, only those who can. Or at least they think they can.
