When Steve Jobs, through his keynote speech was saying how enterprising iPhone can be, and the release of the SDK 2.0, we only thought that some ‘nice to have’ cool applications will emerge, cool games, with great graphics. But that’s practically it.
Apple iPhone has instantly become a buzz since its launching and to prove this with some figures, Steve Jobs recently announced that the sales of iPhone is 6.9 million units taking over RIM, 6.1 million units which ‘delighted’ him.

Through its runtriz™ hotel system, guests will be registered and introduced to a high tech, personalized guest experience. There are 2 ways guests can do this. One way, is by using their own iPhone or iPod Touch and runtriz™ applications will be installed on to it. If they don’t have either iPhone or an iPod, the hotel will loan out an iPod Touch throughout the duration of stay.
The goods? If you ever need to contact the concierge, or you wanted to order for private dining, or even new towels, change the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign and other services, you can just do it by just a click of the button on your iPhone or iPod touch. runtriz™will take care of everything. There won’t be a problem with someone not anwering the phone anymore. This is so great. We know that mobile phones hold the potential to better things, but this is a great initiative that definitely enhances customers’ satisfaction (and room rates too). There has also been talks for mobile phones as credit cards too and the sky’s the limit from here.
For me personally, it’s nothing better than to have everything you ever needed for your business and personal use all in one cool looking, smooth operating device. Did I just describe the iPhone?
