Okay. The next question would be - What is so great about the super hyped Android OS? Well, before that, are you a developer? If yes, then the Android OS is great. The Android OS allow developers to access EVERYTHING, there is no abstraction that these guys need to worry about. They will be able to remove and replace system apps, supplement them, run in the background, send notifications and everything great like that, which apple does not allow. Furthermore, the apps developed for Android do not need to go though the “acceptance” policy that Apple puts developers through. Also, the Android or is made for a huge array of devices, so it will not be limited to devices with touchscreens, multitouch, and/or keyboards.
What about those who were none developer? If you wish that it is more cooler, have better user interface and greater user experience than the Apple iPhone, than sorry to dissapoint you that it’s not. What do you expect from Google? They are all about simplicity, fast loading and efficient. Just look at their search engine and web browser. But should be way better than Windows Mobile, I reckon.
Selling in the US on the 22nd October 2008 and Europe somewhere November 2008, it will be sold at US$179 with a contract and data plan.
